BALTADAPT - Baltadapt to implement first Policy Forum on macro-regional Climate Change Adaptation Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region

Baltadapt partners CBSS Baltic 21 and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety are holding the first Policy Forum “Towards a proposal for a macro-regional Climate Change Adaptation Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region” in Berlin, Germany on 24 April 2012.

Participants of this Policy Forum will be high level policy makers and representatives from relevant national ministries, the European Commission, international and regional organizations and academic institutions in the field of climate change and adaptation from across the Baltic Sea Region. The objective of the first Policy Forum is to kick-off the working process on the development of a proposal for a macro-regional climate change adaptation strategy as called for in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.

The event is an integral part of the Baltic Sea Days in Berlin, organised by the German Presidency of the Council of the Baltic Sea States 2011-2012.
