Estonian premiere of FISH AND ONIONS
Marc Brummunds, Bettina Herzners and René Fischers ethnographic documentary FISH & ONIONS started as a First Motion supported project entitled LAKE PEIPUS which includes an interactive multimedia map of the border region between Estonia and Russia.
The documentary about a group of 'Old Believers', people of Russian origin living on the Estonian side of lake Peipus, is an additional outcome of the crossmedia project and had its world premiere this autumn at German Filmfest Hamburg.
Now FISH & ONIONS continues to travel the festival world by celebrating its Estonian premiere at the 15th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (16th to 30th November 2011) within the section Doc@POFF.
In case you are on location visiting the festival, here are the screening dates:
26th November at 3 pm in Tallinn and 30th November at 5.30 pm in Tartu
