First Motion presents the Baltic Universe @ Grimstad

On 16th June 2011 First Motion will be on location in the Norwegian city of Grimstad to take active part in the seminar »What is the worth of a short film?« which will be happening on the occasion of the Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad (15th to 20th June 2011).

The editors of the Baltic Universe, David Holme and Kristian Mosvold, as well as First Motion partner Bernd-Günther Nahm, Head of Filmwerkstatt Kiel of Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, will participate in the workshop by presenting the networking and distribution platform Baltic Universe which has been launched in February 2011 and is now in its beta phase.

Among others, representatives from the Norwegian Film Institute and various TV-Channels will join the workshop as co-speakers and summiteers. By presenting the Baltic Universe to other media experts, First Motion will raise awareness for the advantages of the constantly improving online platform regarding alternative financing and distribution for short films and other av-media content, as well as networking and online co-producing of cross- and transmedia productions.
