FM - New MA Curriculum "Crossmedia Production" in Tallinn

Developed with First Motion within its work package 6 »education and training« the University of Tallinn's Baltic School for Film and Media (BFM) will initialize its new and pioneering »Crossmedia Production« MA Curriculum this autumn.

The call for applications is open until 7th July 2011 and is targeted at up-and-coming media producers from Northern Europe who want to get trained in combining an academic approach to audiovisual production for multiple platforms with practical and entrepreneurial orientation.

Initiated and offered by the BFM in cooperation with the University of Tartu´s Institute for Journalism and Communication (Estonia) and the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (Latvia), the curriculum offers two years of studying, professionalizing and getting prepared for the multifaceted crossmedia business. The students will share their time among Tallinn, Tartu and Riga.

As strong partner to BFM First Motion sees itself as a pathfinder for the qualification of highly skilled up-and-coming crossmedia producers and a dedicated enabler of key positions in the academic crossmedia world.
