Flagship projects on display at the Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region

Flagship projects were in the spotlight of the Networking Village in Copenhagen - most of the projects on display are funded by the Baltic Sea Region Programme. The Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region and the Baltic Development Forum summit on 17-19 June attracted stakeholders of the strategy, politicians and business people. We have discussed alignment of funds for the period 2014-2020, public private partnerships and the green growth.

The EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region is being reviewed. The four pillars will be replaced by the three objectives: save the sea, connect the region and increase prosperity. The updated action plan will be ready by the end of 2012/beginning 2013. More about the event at www.bsr2012.eu.
