Project Baltic COMPASS approved by the government of Belarus
The project Baltic COMPASS was approved by the government of Belarus on 9 July 2010. This is the first project among the eight second call projects with Belarusian partners that has successfully finished the internal approval procedure in Belarus.
Several projects supported by the Baltic Sea Region Programme have partners from Belarus. These partners will receive co-financing from the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). Before partners from Belarus can start their work, they have to go through the internal approval procedure by the government of Belarus.
Three projects with Belarusian partners (Baltrad, Urb.Energy and Bioenergy Promotion) were approved in the first call for project applications in the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013. They have already started implementing activities after passing the national approval procedure last year. To find more about the project go to the project database.
