Introduction to the Fruit Basket, project Output Library
The Baltic Sea Region (BSR) Programme 2007-2013 financed in total 90 transnational cooperation projects covering a wide scope of themes. In order to share the work done with you, the Programme has created this online basket of projects – a Fruit Basket if you will (formally called the Output Library).
The Fruit Basket may be used for diverse purposes. For example, when you have a specific challenge in your area with regard to transport, you may want to find out what has been done previously in that area and you will most likely find useful documents that would increase your knowledge in the specific topic. The final ACL brochure summarizes the studies that have been conducted in 30 months of project lifetime and the resultant recommendations for action. PORTlog is a marketing platform for logistic service providers, developed by ACL and hosted by Port of Hamburg Marketing. The core idea is to act as a broker for professional contacts between service providers and (potential) clients. According to matching criteria, companies can be selected for specific purposes. It enables customers from worldwide to locate the right service provider in the warehousing, logistics or transport fields for their imports and exports in Hamburg and the metropolitan region.

The Information Broker; an actor and a common information exchange, facilitating and promoting efficient information sharing for the benefit of the stakeholders in the EWTC and the environment, was developed and tested. Establishment of the East West Transport Corridor Association

Description:
The first step towards establishing this structure
in order to secure cooperation within the EWTC
was to form an initiative group in December 2009.
Then, in June 2010 at the Constitutive Conference,
the East West Transport Corridor Association
was officially established. Today, the EWTC Association is a successful triple-helix organization of stakeholders from the public, private, and the academic sector acting to promote the EWTC concept.

measures in the Midnordic Green Transport Corridor, what potential exists in different scenarios and what effects these factors may have in Norway and Sweden. The Midnordic transport study

Description:
The Midnordic Transport Study analysed eastwest
transport routes across the corridor and compared their competitiveness in regard to other routes in Northern Europe. The Study suggests the regions along the Midnordic Corridor focus their joint development efforts on logistics cooperation in exports to Russia. The St. Petersburg region alone offers notable export potential for consumer goods. With regional cooperation, it is possible to create competitive supply chains.

Public transport service SWOT-analysis studies

Analysis enables regions/airports to improve intermodal connectivity giving the PP precise look on their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) regarding current/future linkage of their airports with PTS. With the help of the analysis usage of PTS for accessing BSR airports can be increased; individual traffic lowered. So reductions of emissions of greenhouse gases per departing/arriving passenger can be achieved (ecological sustainability). The plan presents measures to boost intermodal services in the ACE Green Corridor along the route Bodø-Trondheim-Hallsberg/Örebro-Alvesta-Karlskrona (found the best alternative for today’s road logistics solutions).
