Registration closed for the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 conference

The registration for the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007 - 2013 conference is already closed and the maximum number of participants (500) reached.

The event will take place in Hamburg, Germany on 10 - 11 of May 2007. For practical information please visit the conference website at

These two days will offer the chance to learn about new opportunities in the coming programme, to establish useful contacts for future transnational co-operation and to discuss how projects will address four new co-operation themes: "fostering innovations", "accessibility", "Baltic Sea as common resource" and "improving competitiveness of cities and regions". The event will build upon experiences and results achieved through transnational cooperation in the Baltic Sea INTERREG III B programme, which will come to a close at the end of 2008.

The conference will run in the framework of the German Presidency of the EU Council and the "European Week 2007" organised by the City of Hamburg. Participants from municipalities, cities and regions around the Baltic Sea as well as representatives of State Ministries, pan-Baltic organisations and the European Commission will get together for a series of informative presentations and workshops.

We look forward to meeting you in Hamburg!

The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 will support transnational projects working together for balanced and sustainable development of the European territory. The projects will foster innovations, improve accessibility of the region, build on the Baltic Sea as a common resource and improve competitiveness of cities and regions. The programme will run under European Territorial Co-operation Objective and will be part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) and the Kingdom of Norway.
