SCANDRIA - Metropolitan Futures – Metrex meets Scandria
In September 2010 the Joint Spatial Planning Department of Berlin and Brandenburg is hosting a three-day conference in Berlin "Metropolitan Futures LIVING LEARNING CREATING MOVING".
METREX meets SCANDRIA is the subtitle of the conference, since two major European network players, the METREX Network and the SCANDRIA Project, are combining their regular autumn meetings at this conference with high-level international speakers on topics including the impact of improving accessibility, greening transport, and combining creative and economic interests in urban development. As the chosen venue, Berlin and Brandenburg, will contribute substantial input in the way of scientific, political, and practical challenges and approaches.
