Seminar for German first level controllers and project partners held in Lüneburg
Each year, the German national sub-committee organises an information seminar for German first level controllers and project partners. This time around 50 participants attended the seminar on 8 November 2012 in Lüneburg (Germany).
The participants received information on the German first level control (FLC) system from Dr Kaarina Williams, member of the Monitoring Committee. Afterwards, the JTS presented general Programme rules, including lessons learned during the past years of project monitoring. Furthermore, the JTS introduced the topic of project closure to the participants. In the afternoon, Mr Rainer Wiechert (Audit Authority) reported on results from second level audit. Ms Katja Pollow (First level controller, EU-Consult KP/BDO AG) closed the meeting with her presentation on best practices in FLC.
