Six new projects received training in Riga

Lead Partners from six new projects and one extension received their initial training on management, finance and communication issues in Riga on 11 and 12 January. In a constructive working atmosphere all participants enjoyed to learn more on how to deal with changes in the projects, eligibility of costs and how to set indicators. The seminar was also used as a platform for exchange of experience between the projects from priority 1 and 4.

The Monitoring Committee of the Baltic Sea Region Programme decided to grant support to six new cooperation projects (QUICK-IGA, Technet_nano, SCIENCE LINK, Baltic GPP, PrimCare IT and Baltic Landscape) at its meeting in Berlin on 27-28 September. The already on-going project Bioenergy Promotion was granted additional 1.1 million EUR to implement additional activities in the framework of the "extension stage" instrument.
