Innovation in the Baltic Sea region – StarDust newsletter

Towards a global position in 2020

The goal of the five projects in StarDust is to reach a global competitive position in their respective areas by 2020. How to do that has been developed in their first strategic action plans that were evaluated by external experts at a meeting in Stockholm on the 30th-31st of January. An evaluation report is now being written, but you can already read about some findings in the newsletter.

On the 16th-18th of April the StarDust annual conference will take place in Vilnius. The public part of the conference will be on the 17th of April, where the focus will be on smart specialization, alignment of funding and on some of the achievement from the five projects.

If you are interested in innovation cooperation in the BSR, please join the BSR Stars/StarDust group on LinkedIn, for more informal exchange of ideas and experiences.

In the newsletter you can also read about:

  • International experts coached and evaluated the StarDust pilots
  • Annual meeting 16-18 April in Vilnius
  • Focus group suggests beauty contests for elderly
  • Clean Water strengthens cooperation of partners' networks
