Starting today: the Baltic Sea Region Programme Conference 2012 in Norway, 19-20 Sept 2012

We would like to welcome you to the Baltic Sea Region Programme Conference 2012 in Lilleström (Oslo region), Norway on 19-20 September 2012. The agenda and the list of participants are available at

The event is part of the European Cooperation Day 2012. European Cooperation will be celebrated all over Europe: almost 40 countries will host public events that will take place during the week of 17-23 September.

At the Programme Conference we will see what difference transnational cooperation can make when successful projects continue working as thematic clusters (energy, innovation, transport and water). We will also look into the future of the European Territorial Cooperation 2014-2020. Will the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region and the Baltic Sea Region Programme go hand in hand? We will discuss the relationship between the Strategy and the Programme’s priorities.

On behalf of the conference hosts: Norwegian Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development, Eastern Norway County Network and the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013.
