Summaries on-line: Thematic Programming Workshops on Environment, Transport and Innovation
The Joint Technical Secretariat summarised the results of three stakeholder workshops carried out in April 2013 as part of the programming for 2014-2020. The results will be presented to the Joint Programming Committee (JPC) in June 2013 in Tallinn. They have also been taken into consideration for the updated draft priority descriptions which serve as a basis for discussion during the JPS meeting.
Background: In April 2013 three programming workshops on environment, transport and innovation took place. The discussions at the workshops contribute to the development of the operational programme for the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020. The idea of the workshops was to make use of the valuable knowledge and expertise of the programme stakeholders and other experts to prepare a targeted, comprehensive future programme. The aims of the workshop were to verify the key challenges, to specify the necessary actions and to identify the benefits of transnational cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region.
