eu.baltic.net - finalist of the RegioStars awards
Every Year the European Commissions awards RegioStars to the best projects financed by EU money. The objective of the RegioStars awards is to identify good practices in regional development and to highlight original and innovative projects which could be attractive and inspiring to other regions.
Projects are selected in different categories (e.g. integration of migrants or marginalised groups in urban areas). RegioStars awards 2010 introduced a category "Information and Communication: Websites offering quality information and showing the European added-value".
eu.baltic.net, the internet portal of the Baltic Sea Region Programme, was chosen as finalist in the category "Information and communication" and was presented to the RegioStars jury on 27 January in Brussels. The jury will award winners on 20 May 2010.
